FAQ

I have never done yoga, will I be OK in this class? Absolutely! Class intended for beginning, as well as continuing, students.

What should I wear? Comfortable clothes allowing freedom of movement.

May I wear perfume to class? No. Please respect sensitivities of others and the “No Scent” policy of the studio.

What should I bring to class? You will need to acquire a regular yoga mat. We have a variety for sale at the studio

When should I arrive? You may arrive as early as 15 minutes before class; but please be ready to begin class when class begins. If you are delayed, please be as quite as a mouse.

I have arthritis in my knees/hips/spine/etc., will this class be alright for me? This varies with the individual. When in doubt consult with a physician before registering.

I have had joint replacement surgery. Can I come to the class? Yoga can be very beneficial in these circumstances, but we recommend that you consult with your doctor before you register for a class.

Do I need to get clearance from a doctor to begin a yoga class? Generally no, but please consult with your treating physician if you have any current concerns.

What if I miss a class? You are allowed two makeups a term, to be used during the term. For these you may ether attend another class, or bring a friend with you (or both).

No-Refund and Credit Policies

The studio policy is that there are no refunds of registration fees.

Cancellation Policy. If you cancel your registration before your first class, your registration payment may be credited to the next term. If you cancel within 48 hours of the first class, there will be a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel after 48 hours (but before your first class) there will be a $50 cancellation fee. No credit if the class is canceled at the time of the first class or later.
